Pavilion A
19th Century Photographs
The first Pavilion in the museum features 19th century photographs by world-renowed photographers, Albert Honiss and Manuel Arias Rodriguez. Here, visitors will see old photographs of different places in the country such as Cebu, Iloilo, Corregidor, Bicol, and Manila.
Some of the highlights in this pavilion include the photographs of Calle Colon, the oldest street in Cebu; 19th century Intramuros, the Biak na Bato headquarters in Bulacan; the Porta Vaga church in Cavite, and copies of the religious literary book Doctrina Christiana in Spanish.
