Pavilion E
The final pavilion in the museum displays photographs from the American period in the Philippines, World War II, liberation and peacetime, and images that tell the story of the Philippines being the first republic in Asia. The room features hundreds of photographs of significant events in the Philippines such as the 1945 landing of General Douglas MacArthur in Leyte, the surrender of Emilio Aguinaldo during the Filipino-American war, and the atomic bombs that destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. It also features breathtaking images of how World War II destroyed the Philippines. The pavilion also has a complete gallery of the political leaders of the Philippines from Emilio Aguinaldo.-
